What is intercultural communication?

Intercultural communication is a form of communication that aims to share information across different cultures and social groups. It is used to describe the wide range of communication process and problems that naturally appear within a organization or social context made up of individuals from different religious, social, ethnic and educational backgrounds. Intercultural communication is sometimes used synonymously with cross-cultural communication, in this sense it seeks  to understand how people from different countries and cultures act, communicate and perceive the the world around them. Many people in intercultural business communication argue that culture determines how individuals and code messages, what medium they choose for transmitting them ?and the and away messages are interpreted. With regard to intercultural communication proper it studies situations where people from different cultural backgrounds interact aside from language intercultural communication focuses on social attributes thought patterns and the culture of different groups of people. It also involves understanding the different cultures and languages and customs of people from other countries . Intercultural communication plays a role in social sciences such as apology, cultural studies, linguistics, psychology and communication studies. 

Why do some students decide to study communication and media?

Some people decide to study communication and media becase they usually love the international environment, and find new friends, making friends for a lifetime because it's just an overall, wonderful experience to have. They are really interested in media, and communication and people think these are a really important field for the future. Some students, as it was said before, would like to have different views about international enviroment, it means that people like to investigate and learn about the different types of communication and media do the world has. Peple who studies communication and media used to be more social and like to interact with other people of different parts of the world.

What would it be like a day without internet?

Nowadays technology and internet are two things that most of human being frequently use, not just to communicate with other person but also most of companies let workers used internet to help with the development of it. A day without internet would be a chaos for most of human beings that used to use these electronic devices, and it would be worst for teenages because they are more accustomed to using these electronic devices more frequently, most of them like to share and see information and the things they and their friends are doing in their socials medias, so a day with out internet some teens would get crazy for not being able to share and look what is happening with the other people. Also it would affect in the production and communication needed in some big and importan companies.but a day without internet could bring positive things for the interaction of people, without internet or technology people feel forced to communicate with the people around him making that day more interactive with other people that is next to you and no in the other side of

 a screen.
